Dolphin Bay Beach House is situated on the edge of the ocean overlooking the most beautiful bay, lagoon and secluded beach on the South Coast. A short stroll across the lawn, through the gate and you're on the beach. The adjoining wetland reserve is teaming with bird life, where regular sightings and calls of the resident fish eagle, large brown eagle, grey and white egrets, woolly necked stork, plover and dikkop occur. The area is often visited by small game, and it is a common sight to see bush buck and grey and blue duiker on the front lawn in the early morning and late afternoon. For the fisherman, this is still an unspoiled area with good catches from both rock and surf as well as the offshore reefs. Golf courses, casino and water-world are all within 15 km radius of the beach house, and the popular southern explored arts and crafts meander begins when you exit the property. Internationally recognised restaurants and the well-known Mac Banana Farm stall are only a few kms away.
The house consists of five bedrooms and sleeps twelve persons. Three of the rooms have queen size beds, one room has two three quarter beds, and one double volume room has three single beds and one three quarter bed. The lounge and dining area are open plan with a well-stocked kitchen fitted with all the requirements for a comfortable stay. In the lounge there is a large flat screen TV with surround sound and full bouquet DSTV channels. The main bedroom upstairs also has a separate flat screen TV with duel view capabilities. Two of the rooms have air-conditioning the others have ceiling fans. There are two rooms with full on suite bathrooms, as well as two additional bathrooms and a guest toilet. The double garage adjoins the house, and there are large open air and undercover patios for outside entertainment. Upstairs has a super large wooden deck to accommodate the entire family.
