The minute you arrive you will be tempted to enjoy a stretch of the legs, a stroll or even a jog in the fresh air and the scenic countryside, and then it will be time to relax in the warmth of the fireplaces in winter, or to set fire to the barbeque and watch the sun set in the summer.
On the property, within walking distance from the house, there is pristine river and 2 stocked dams suitable for fly-fishing (T&Cs apply).
For the outdoor enthusiast - bring your hiking shoes, mountain-bike/bicycle, kayak, binoculars (and passport if you want to take a trip up Sani Pass).
The house sleeps 9 people in total.
The main bedroom has a king-size bed and a TV.
A second bedroom has twin three quarter beds.
Both of these bedrooms have large en-suite full bathrooms with heated towel rails.
A third bedroom has twin single beds and a separate full bathroom with heated towel rails.
The 4th bedroom sleeps 3 people in single beds, who can share a shower, toilet and hand basin en-suite and or the separate bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped including large side by side fridge / freezer, a dishwasher, electric eye-level oven and a gas top stove.
The lounge/dining room is very spacious, comfortably furnished and has an enclosed combustion fireplace.
The bar has a large screen TV and an open fireplace.
The beauty of this magnificent house is its sheer orientation! The main bedroom, the open plan living area AND the bar all open onto a LONG verandah, which is equipped with chairs, tables and a built-in barbeque, offering unbeatable views of the sun setting over the berg in the west, and shelter from the beastly easterly.
Welcome fire wood, teas and coffee are available on arrival.
There is also solar backup for lighting and DSTV on request.
Easily visible from the tar road, you can't miss it when travelling between Underberg and Kokstad. We would also like to assure you, that one night is not going to be even half enough so don't even think about it!
