The beach and sea views here are simply amazing. You can clearly hear and smell the ocean, and in stormy weather even feel the spray. This cosy 3 bedroom, 6 sleeper apartment is on the 6th floor and on the beach front. There is an elevator, swimming pool and secure basement parking in the building. The unit is well equipped for self-catering with a double door fridge/freezer, microwave oven, hob, oven, kettle, pop-up toaster and extras such as a water filter, espresso machine, ice crusher, milk frothing machine, egg cooker, sandwich toaster, Cadac gas patio braai, etc.
The apartment features air conditioning, free uncapped WiFi as well as Dstv Premium (all channels). There is also a cd player, cds, a few games and boogie boards for the use of our guests. A hair dryer and portable fans are there for just in case.
602 Bali Hai is serviced on weekdays (on request and at no extra cost), and all cleaning products and toilet paper are supplied. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer and iron & ironing board available for the use of guests and housekeeping.
As a welcoming gift guests receive a variety of coffee, tea, sugar and sweetners, as well as a sealed bottle of mineral water and sparkling water, and 1l of milk in the refrigerator.
The location of Bali Hai is ideally suited for either a break-away fly-in weekend (we are only 12km from King Shaka International Airport), or a long stay where guests can enjoy the Blue Flag beach of Westbrook, as well as the beaches of Umdloti to the south and Ballito to the north of Westbrook. In Ballito there are a number of adventure activities such as microlight flights, skydiving, etc. The Gateway Mall in Umhlanga Rocks offers surfing lessons in man-made waves, Ushaka Marine World in Durban is also within easy reach of Westbrook. And then, for the scuba divers, Aliwal Shoal at Umkomaas south of Durban is a great site for caged and baited shark dives - an easy day excursion. For the wildlife enthusiasts there is a reptile park and crocodile farm to visit, and for the little ones Ballito has a kiddies' farmyard and activity picnic area for the whole family. The game reserves in northern KZN are less that 200km from Westbrook and worth some investigating.
If you are looking for an outstanding restaurant, you will be pleased to hear we have one of the best right there in the Bali Hai building. You can have lunch or dinner either in their dining room or out on the terrace which overlooks the ocean. There are excellent restaurants in both Ballito and Umdloti that will cater for all tastes.
